General Manager & Director

CLÉMENT PIERLOT

Clément Pierlot is Cellar Master at Champagne Pommery in Reims, where he oversees the House's winemaking and upholds its renowned reputation for quality and innovation. He has played a key role in shaping Louis Pommery England from the start of the project, bringing Champagne expertise to the wines of Pinglestone Estate and helping define their distinctive style.

Deputy General Manager

BAPTISTE CHAZEAUD

Baptiste Chazeaud oversees the technical development of Louis Pommery England, bringing together the heritage of Maison Pommery with the unique character of Pinglestone Estate. Working closely with the vineyard and winemaking teams, he is helping establish Louis Pommery England as one of the country's leading producers of premium English sparkling wine.

Head Winemaker

WILL PERKINS

A true local, growing up just 5 miles from the vineyard, Will is Head Winemaker at Pinglestone Estate. With academic and hands-on experience across the globe, he has honed his craft under pioneering mentors in South Africa, Spain, California, New Zealand and Australia. Will's return to Hampshire in 2022 has seen him fully embrace the enchanting terroir of our 35-hectares of vineyards. His passion for winemaking is inspired by his deep roots and community ties, driven by curiosity and creativity.

Vineyard Manager

JAMES BOWERMAN

James has been growing quality grapes since 2006 across Napa Valley, Southern France and Hampshire, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience. Having been on board since the conception of the vineyard, he is passionate about Pinglestone Estate. James' aim is to balance the vines with the existing natural habitat, striving to enhance the ecological fabric at every step. It is the combination of geology, climate and viticultural philosophy that provides the foundation for all Louis Pommery wines.

Vineyard operator

BEN TOOLEY

​Ben joined us in 2021 and continues to be a highly valued member of our vineyard team, his diligent tractor work keeping our vineyards in beautiful shape. A keen forager in his spare time, Ben's attentiveness to ecology at Pinglestone makes him a great fit within our viticultural approach, whilst also helping with our beehives. As a former World Champion cocktail maker, Ben's a good man to have on any team.

Vineyard Operator

LOUIS WALES

Louis joined our team in 2022 and is involved in all vineyard operations at Pinglestone. As an important cog in our ecological projects across the estate, Louis seeds all our wildflower zones and attends to our beehives throughout the year as well.With a background as a chef, he has a keen interest in all things gastronomic, and is never too far from a delightful bottle of bubbles.

Assistant Winemaker

JÉAN LANGEDYK

Hailing from South Africa, Jéan is our Assistant Winemaker at Pinglestone Estate. With a degree in Molecular Biology and a broad range of international experience, he joined the team in 2026. Working across both the winery and vineyard, his role reflects the integrated approach taken at Pinglestone Estate, where the close relationship between vineyard and winemaking underpins our single-estate philosophy.

Business Development Manager

ALEX HOUSEHOLD

Alex is Brand Development Manager for Louis Pommery England, bringing extensive experience from the wine and spirits trade across Europe and Africa. Having grown up surrounded by fine wine, he combines his passion for the industry with a love of sport, introducing Louis Pommery England to new audiences at events across the UK.

MARK LAUGHTON

Mark brings a wealth of experience to Louis Pommery. Having spent many years working across the English wine industry with vineyards and producers throughout the UK. With a deep understanding of viticulture, vineyard performance and the development of English sparkling wine, he combines technical expertise with a practical appreciation of cool-climate wine growing. Passionate about helping vineyards realise their full potential, Mark is a valued member of our team.
